“My best definition of a normal person, someone I don’t really know well…”, classic statement, too true for psychiatry and too true for normal life! :-)

  2. threshold79 says:

how do you propose treating someone who is just talking cud when they have a problem and have already tried persuing the subject with severe amount of patience

  3. codyallenrienstra says:

    @shounenbat510 TRUTH!

  4. alexandraacreator says:

3.31….they never figured out they were “normal”…exactly….the disease of our time, the belief in one point of view as an absoute truth…..

  5. whiff1962 says:

@Ithelumaa I get the same epithet about being a scientologist. I don’t know what it is about psychiatric apologists and calling reasonable skepticism scientology inspired! Go figure.

Although I have to admit that some of Breedings theories are quite idealistic and they’re not too much connected in real-life situations. For example I’m not complitely agains all drugs. I think in some situations drugs are necessary. But these videos has helped me a lot. They’ve given me a lot to think about. Thaks again for them. And I’ve allso practised my english too. ;)

I’ve been diagnosed by psychiatry myself (I’m definetly not ill), I’ve been on medication (SSRI), but not anymore. I’ve got allso plenty of experiences of psychiatry otherwise. I see clearly psychiatrys role of beeing part of social control in the society and politics.

  8. Ithelumaa says:

OK, I’ve watched many of Dr. Breedings videoes and they’ve been extremely interesting. Somebody claimed Breeding is a scientologist. Don’t know about that, i’m not interested in scientology. But these points of views about psychiatry have definetly given me a totally new way to see so called mental illnesses. Most of Breedings opinions match very well with my experiences about psychiatry.

A claim to virtue, or a way to cover his…bases? (Rocky’s “helper.”)

  10. jerami101 says:

I love your videos John! Thanks for posting! What are the numbers of people who are committed against their will every year?

  11. Bioflavenoids says:

Excellent video and comments!! Dr. John Breeding is highly intelligent and an outstanding communicator.

  12. Christopher711 says:

What would have happened if Rocky had not agreed with the judge that he was schizophrenic?

  13. realzoomy says:

Child abuse victims are stigmatised. There is a massive cover up, the child is called a liar, gets isolated, then, if they haven’t hanged themselves or whatever, when they grow up they can’t get a job because of missed schooldays, then some berk of a psycho labels them schizophrenic and pumps them full of drugs! Thanks for speaking out about this psuedoscience.

  14. roman432 says:

I wish more people thought the way that this guy did

  15. shounenbat510 says:

It’s my hope that the world will wake up and realize that they’ve been raped by the propoganda of psychiatrists. Until that happens, Enron – I mean psychiatry – will continue to screw us all.

  16. Chipmunkapublishing says:

Stigma is one of the most crippling things for people who experience mental health issues. Breakdwon the stigma by empowering yourself and having your story published with us.

  17. bojay26 says:

i really love what you guys do.
    its awesome
and makes me feel hopeful that more people will start looking at “mental illness” in a different way, and there will be more change

  18. mountain19 says:

    they are full of themselves.

  19. cloudmonkeys says:

Excellent. ‘Half of the harm that is done in this world is due to people who want to feel important.
they dont mean to do harm – but the harm does not interest them. Or they do not see it, or they justify it because they are absorbed in the endless struggle
to think well of themselves’ T.S Eliot

  20. psychpatient101 says:
